An Afternoon in Sukawati

I think most of the Balinese is born to be an artist. Just about every inch in their life, there are many proof of their craftmanship. Paintings, sculpture, carving, traditional dance, and countless more. That makes Bali well known in Indonesia, even worldwide.

Sukawati, one of the traditional art market in Bali, is the perfect place to shop art. This is the budget market located in Gianyar. Even so, the quality is comparable to the expensive one you find in town. Don’t hesistate to make a deal with the shopkeepers, they will be very welcome to you.

An this is how Sukawati looks like in an ordinary afternoon. Enjoy!
